Privacy Policy

Effective date: [Launch date]

MoneyBot respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains how MoneyBot collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information when you visit the MoneyBot website, join a waitlist, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with our current pre-launch services.

MoneyBot’s full client and advisor platforms are not yet publicly available. Additional privacy terms may apply when those services launch, and this policy will be updated before personal information is collected through them.

Information We Collect

We may collect:

  • information you provide directly, including full name, email address, province or territory, advisor category, business or firm name, waitlist preferences, and other information you choose to submit;
  • technical information, including IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring page, pages visited, and approximate location derived from IP address;
  • usage information about navigation, page interactions, forms, and links;
  • communication information, including questions, feedback, and support requests; and
  • consent and preference records, including the consent text and version, timestamp, source, unsubscribe status, and suppression history.

The current public website and waitlist do not collect financial account information, transaction data, identity-verification documents, payment information, or information required to deliver the future MoneyBot platforms.

How We Use Information

MoneyBot may use information to:

  • manage client and advisor waitlists;
  • send communications you agreed to receive;
  • understand interest across client groups, advisor categories, and regions;
  • improve website content, accessibility, performance, security, forms, and user experience;
  • respond to communications;
  • prevent and investigate misuse, fraud, security incidents, and technical problems;
  • maintain consent, preference, and unsubscribe records;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, and reporting obligations; and
  • prepare for launch without using waitlist information to provide financial advice or make automated financial decisions about you.

MoneyBot will not use current website or waitlist information to access financial accounts, deliver personalized financial guidance, evaluate creditworthiness, or determine eligibility for financial products or services.

Consent and Electronic Communications

When you join a waitlist, you may consent to receive emails about MoneyBot’s development, availability, launch, and related opportunities.

You may withdraw consent at any time through an unsubscribe link or by contacting MoneyBot. Withdrawal does not affect communications sent before withdrawal. MoneyBot may still send non-promotional messages reasonably necessary to respond to you, manage your request, protect the website, or comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

MoneyBot may share personal information only when reasonably necessary with:

  • service providers supporting hosting, storage, forms, email, analytics, performance, security, and related operations;
  • professional advisors where their services are reasonably required;
  • government authorities, regulators, courts, or law-enforcement agencies where required or permitted by law; and
  • parties involved in a proposed or completed financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale, or transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.

MoneyBot does not sell personal information and does not provide waitlist information to financial institutions, advisors, or other third parties so they can market their own products or services to you.

Service Providers and International Processing

MoneyBot may use service providers in Canada or other countries. Personal information may therefore be processed or stored outside your province, territory, or Canada and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

MoneyBot selects service providers using operational, security, privacy, and legal considerations and uses contractual or other appropriate safeguards where required.

Cookies and Analytics

MoneyBot may use essential technologies required for security, form operation, consent, and basic site functionality.

Non-essential analytics or marketing technologies must not operate until any required consent mechanism is available. The site must remain usable when non-essential tracking is declined. Analytics must not collect names, email addresses, financial information, consent text, or form-field values.

Retention and Security

MoneyBot retains personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, and enforcement.

MoneyBot uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and MoneyBot cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of personal information, ask questions about its use or disclosure, withdraw consent, or request deletion where legally available.

MoneyBot may need to verify identity before responding and may retain limited records where required for legal, security, consent, or suppression purposes.

Third-Party Links and Children

The website may link to third-party sites governed by their own privacy practices.

The current website and waitlists are not directed to children under the age at which they may independently consent under applicable law. MoneyBot does not knowingly seek waitlist information from children.

Changes and Contact

MoneyBot may update this policy as the website, waitlists, legal requirements, or future services change. The current effective date will be displayed when changes are published.

This policy requires final Canadian legal review before publication.
